Position Overview - Basic Functions & Responsibility

The incumbent is responsible to maintain and cooperate in developing MSD CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Is responsible for maintaining the CRM systems support and updating function. Monitors end-user usage of systems and performs daily administrative tasks. The incumbent is responsible for database management, monitoring of CRM usage, CRM reporting, trainining. The incumbent supports in development of new functionalities within the MSD CRM system and potential interfaces with other MSD systems. Closely cooperates with the MSD CRM international team. The incumbent is responsible for database management, monitoring of CRM usage, CRM reporting, respective training. The incumbent supports Customer Unit Leads, Customer Solution Manager, Sales Managers, Sales representatives and other MSD colleagues in effective usage of CRM system. The incumbent must have or gain an in-depth understanding not only of the CRM software, but also of sales, marketing, business processes, and how they relate to the CRM system.The CRM Specialist will additionally assist in business process improvement activities that are identified via surveys, customer feedback, and other issues as they arise, including assisting SFE&MCM Specialist and Business Operations Lead with reporting and metrics.

Key Result Areas and Tasks

CRM system (incl. iSales)
On daily basis:
  • CRM maintenance (incl. user management)
  • User’s support
  • Troubleshooting 
On weekly/monthly basis to run and share
  • Customer database update 
  • Activity reports
  • KPIs dashboard and reports
  • ICE & MER Dashboard
On quarterly basis
  • S&T (Segmentation and targeting update)
  • PULSE Data upload
  • Aggregate spending report 
On ad-hoc basis
  • New functionalities and modules implementation incl. UAT (Users Acceptance testing)
  • Training – train the trainers, train the users, manuals development
  • Upload e-detailing presentation into the system
  • Data upload
  • Other systems – admin rights and user’s support ICE tool, MER SFE Dashboard, Lyris, ABC system
EFPIA & NCZI Data stewardship
  • Overlook and control of submissions of NCZI non-monetary transfer of value (ToV) entries to the system by activity owners 
  • Submission of EFPIA, NCZI, and TAX reports according to local law and EFPIA requirements
Qualifications

Skills
  • Experienced to work as an admin of any CRM system (Mobile Inteligence, Veeva, salesforce.com, Siebel, JD Software etc)
  • Excellent at problem solving, analysis, data driven thinking and team-working
  • Strong accountability and work ethics
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in teams
  • Willigness to learn
  • Ability to learn fast
  • Computer proficiency, especially Excel, BI tools, Spotfire etc.
  • Fluent in English
Education
University degree, preferably in IS/IT, engineering or management
Additional education, particularly in database management, business, programming or IT infrastructure, is beneficial.

Experience
Minimum 1 year experience as CRM admin in Pharmaceuticals as an advantage
