Is responsible for maximizing the promotion of the company's products in its assigned territory, both in the short and long term, by actively promoting MSD products and marketing policies - according to applicable regulations, standard operating policies and any other rules and internal instructions applicable to MSD.

The medical representative has sound scientific knowledge and professional training that make him / her competent to provide accurate and complete information about the products he / she promotes.

The medical representative has no duties and / or responsibilities in negotiating any commercial transactions and / or selling any drugs.




  • Defines the customer group and the number of visits at the beginning of each quarter;

  • Prepares weekly visit plans and activities. Pre-notification of major monthly activities at the request of management;

  • Reports bi-weekly the activity carried out in the internal reporting system;

  • Prepares the daily routes that will ensure the efficient coverage of the territory;

  • Provides medical information according to the individual needs of physicians

  • Evaluates periodically the promotion results, the frequency of the meetings, etc., to contribute to the understanding of the characteristics of the allocated territory and to the planning of the requirements of the occupied position;

  • Identifies the areas of personal development and establishes specific training actions in the annual development plan;

Candidate profile:

  • Higher education;

  • Experience in promotion;

  • In-depth knowledge of the product (including competing products);

  • Good knowledge of this area of activity and clients (such as drug treatment and prescribing practices);

  • Good command of English language;

  • Ability to work with certain computer programs.
