Cramlington QC laboratory ensure that the testing results for raw materials, finished product, packaging components and microbiology are accurate and within specified limits to support quality assurance.



Due to the rapidly changing nature of the Quality IPT, a number of permanent positions have become available for the role of Product Testing Analyst.



The role of a QC Product Testing Analyst (PTA) is to test product to pre-determined quality standards within pre-defined timelines whilst maintaining the highest level of right first time, compliance and current GMP.


PTA’s ensure that laboratory deviations and any abnormal occurrences are performed within the time frame required and according to local and global SOPs, to ensure all corrective and preventative actions are completed within the agreed time frame.Qualifications

  • Preferably qualified to a minimum of HNC level in a science related subject.

  • Experience in a laboratory and an understanding of testing and laboratory functions and up to date laboratory techniques are required.

  • Knowledge of working in a highly regulated industry.

  • Planning and organisational skills.

  • Forward thinking, solution focussed and excellent decision making skills.

  • Proactive in challenging systems and work practices, with a view to making productivity savings and eliminating ‘waste’ steps. 

  • Good communication skills – written and verbal.

  • Good time management and prioritisation.

  • The ability to form good working relationships and interact well with other functional groups.

  • Good attention to detail and a well organised approach to work.

  • Work within MSD, regulatory and safety guidelines.
