Responsibilities / Functions

  • Provide Procurement support to Friesoythe site and other German speaking sites 

  • Responsible for the Supplier Relationship Management (Selection, Evaluation, Price and Contract negotiations) to support the direct material supply

  • One of the Key Contact Points for solving the supplier related issues

  • Support Indirect Materials Procurement (be partner for site personnel in setting up shopping carts in SAP, negotiate offers, execute orders, agree service level agreements with key indirect materials suppliers)

  • Support Quality Assurance processes (Manage Change control and process deviations / complaints for key suppliers)

  • SAP transactions and SAP Master Data maintenance (e.g. Material Master, Prices) 

  • Data maintenance for internal supplier data bases. Ensure adherence to global sourcing policies and procedures.
Provide Procurement data/reports for local departments and/or other Global Functions (e.g. REACH status,
delivery performance, quality history and agreements, Audit initiation)


Competency / Experiences

  • Relevant professional experience ideally in Pharmaceutical or Chemical Industry

  • University degree (ideally in Business Administration, or in Chemistry / Pharmacy combined with Procurement job experience) or equivalent education/training

  • SAP: progressed

  • MS-Office: progressed 

  • German/ English: progressed (at least one language business fluent)

  • Project experience (Six Sigma belts, project management skills): desired 

  • Intercultural Experience: cooperation with teams within multinational environment

  • Results oriented

  • Good Communication skill and ability to work in a team

  • Competence for planning and organisation

  • Decision-making ability
