Purpose of the role 

As Brand & Customer Manager (BCM) Oncology you need to be highly motivated to build on the success in oncology for MSD Netherlands. You are responsible for its commercial success by building a strong collaboration between MSD and all stakeholders, setting priorities and securing appropriate business planning. You will design, develop and implement marketing plans and programs, consistent with global strategies. You will report to the Director Business Unit Oncology in the Netherlands. 


Main responsibilities

  • The BCM will be responsible for leading the campaign development, content strategy and channel execution, aligned to the strategic vision and will work across a range of indications but with a focus on the Melanoma and Head & Neck indications.
  • The BCM will collaborate together with MSD’s internal Medical, Market Access, CME, digital team, proactively identify best practice and drive innovation in the way MSD engages with external stakeholders across the oncology landscape.
  • Continuous improvement in the customer user journey related to the adoption of MSD Oncology products and services, integrating adoption ladders, field intelligence, market research and new digital.
  • Ensure consistent planning of tactical phases with robust analysis, planning and execution of campaigns which are strategically aligned and deliver the desired behavioral objectives.
  • Ensure clear, appropriate and measurable KPIs are developed in conjunction with campaigns which shape future tactics in an iterative manner.
  • Understand the needs of our customer base; information requirements, format, channel preference and influencers.
  • Drive permissions from our HCP target universe via both non-personal (web banners, partnerships) and personal (sales force) interactions.
  • Provide innovation through testing new marketing channels, new types of content and new channel execution strategies.
  • Lead the operational cross functional team meetings.
 
Qualifications

Your profile
  • Minimum: University or HBO degree
  • 2+ years successful experience of selling in hospital environment and 2+ years successful experience in product management / marketing
  • Experience in oncology and product launch experience would be an asset
  • Fluent in conversational and written Dutch and English
  • Experience in forecasting/planning & tracking
  • Knowledge of the overall healthcare system in the Netherlands and the role of the individual customer groups within the healthcare environment
  • Ability to navigate in a science-driven, quickly developing environment encompassing multiple diseases and products
  • Demonstrated successful scientific leaders management
  • Team player with a drive for connecting and collaborating both internally and externally
