THE OPPORTUNITY


MSD is currently recruiting for a Vaccine Manager to join our Manufacturing division.

As a Vaccine Manager, you will play a key role in the day to day management of filling and packing onsite. This involves leading and developing a multi-skilled team, as well as operational responsibilities in site & financial management and leading process improvements that optimise yields, reduce production costs, stabilise processes. Additionally, you will assure full and continuous compliance of vaccine production with all regulatory and company requirements.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking someone with a Science background who has experience in an aseptic production environment to lead the vaccine production of one of the world's leading healthcare companies renowned for its ethics and integrity & exceptional product pipeline.

You will have:

  • A Degree in Science or similar (component in Microbiology or Biotechnology is desirable)
  • Solid experience working in a technology-based industry with a history of hands on machine operation
  • Strong working knowledge of aseptic techniques
  • Previous industry experience in manufacturing in Pharma, Food Processing etc
  • Prior supervisory or team management experience
  • Ability to communicate & manage to a multi-skilled team
  • Proven project management and process improvement abilities
  • Experience with cGMP, GLP or ISO 9000 in a production environment
