For the Biologics Manufacturing site of BioPharma Werthenstein, in Schachen (Luzern area), we are urgently looking for a:
Microbiological Equipment Engineer


  • Support in the planning and execution of the qualification and maintenance of microbiological analytical equipment

  • Create plans and reports for microbial monitoring of production facilities and water systems

  • Support the introduction, demonstration and qualification of new assay equipment. Write reports and make presentations concerning new findings.

  • Scientific support for the evaluation of deviations in relation to microbiological findings

  • Interaction with external suppliers


  • Academics or Technical University/School with deep knowledge of microbiological analysis

  • Min 1 to 2 years of experience in GMP/GDP/HACCEP environment (including training and internship), ideally in equipment specification, qualification and maintenance

  • Preferably experienced in computerized system qualification requirements and activities.

  • Comfortable with administrative and office tasks

  • Fluent in English and German: reading, writing and speaking

  • Strong willingness to learn and independence

  • Strong team-oriented and open personality
