A.  Position
Objective



 



To ensure end-to-end
supply chain management is performed at high service standards to comply with
Company policy and procedures by:



1.        Facilitating
the S&OP process with BUDs and PMs to come up with the most realistic sales
forecast



2.        Work
closely with Packaging site to ensure optimal supply of finished goods in
supporting MSD PH’s business needs



3.        Work
closely with APHUB/SNP/Demand Planner to ensure timely and adequate bulk supply
to meet packaging site’s production plan.



4.        Ensure
finished goods are well managed by the 3rd parties
 in compliance with MSD standards.



 



 



B.    Duties and
Responsibilities



 



(1) Demand Planning
& Supply/Planning Management



1.          Analyze
sales forecasts vs. actual results and recommend to BUDs/PMs the most realistic
sales forecast by reflecting business needs and to develop finished goods(FG)
supply plan (considering safety stocks, inventory level, packaging lead-time
and MOQ) for the sites to develop production plans



2.          Generate
bulk forecast plan by reviewing FG supply plan and 3rdparty
production plan with considerations of bulk inventory, bulk production capacity
availability, bulk supply lead-time, MOQ of bulk, etc. to support APHUB/SNP
Planner to optimize bulk planning for Philippines



3.          Analyze
and monitor monthly MRP according to the Ship & Receive Schedule as well as
Bulk Supply Planning in COMET from APHUB and coordinate with bulk supply sites
to ensure the inventory level is in accordance with production needs.



4.          Track
shipments for goods receiving in timely manner



5.          Track
& monitor to ensure execution of FG production plan and provide timely
ad-hoc communications on demand changes with sites.



6.          Follow
up and coordinate with sites to ensure timely delivery of FG to 3rd party
distributor warehouse



7.          Conduct
local S&OP meeting effectively with designated BUs to provide 24-months
rolling sales forecast for inventory planning & control and to ensure
adequate inventory level to support business needs in a cost effective way.



8.          Participate
in regional S&OP to effectively reflect BU plans as well as RA registration
status of new products & in-line changes to 3rd party
manufacturer  and supply sites for lead-time to pre-build stocks for
during transition periods.



9.          Work
with local RA, APHUB and sites in managing component change/bulk manufacturing
site change to ensure no supply interruption



 



(2) Logistics Operation
Management



1.        Coordinate
with Forwarder/Broker and Distributor to ensure all bulk shipments are handled
timely and accurately in compliance with regulations.



2.        Ensure
sales/inventory data are updated timely in supporting FG and bulk
planning 



3.        Ensure
to maintain data integrity of FG and bulk in IFP whenever changes come, such as
BU restructuring, product/PM matrix, new item, etc.



4.        Monitor
3rd party operations in compliance with MSD quality guideline



5.        Work
closely with Cold Chain Management team to ensure bulk shipments for
Philippines and FG delivery to 3rd party distributor in
compliance with MSD standards.



6.        Coordinate
with EPQO, 3rd party logistics providers manufacturer and
Finance in managing destruction of obsolete materials (bulk).



 



(3) Customer Service
& Sales Administration support



1.          Support
and work with BU functions to improve the operation between MSD Phils and local
distributors and business partners for executing sales & marketing
activities



2.          Build
up effective communication flow within RA, sites and  BU for change
notifications to customers in meeting with contract and customers’ internal
system requirements



3.          Closely
work with Medical and 3rd party manufacturer/MSD manufacturing
sites in managing customer complaint (PQC).



4.          Support
RBO in managing and monitoring 3rd party manufacturer services.



 



(4) Project
Management



1.          Support
and participate in cross-functional projects as required by local business
needs



2.          Support
assigned SCM projects



 



(5) Financial &
Control Management :



1.          Timely
settle service fees due to Distributor(s) with Finance



2.          Review
3rd party SRA partner service fees per agreement terms &
conditions on a monthly basis.



3.          Propose
timely accruals to reflect SCM expenses per Finance SOP.



4.          Propose
inventory provisions for financial updates on quarterly basis.



 


Qualifications

Education/Professional Certificate



    - Graduate of a four-year Business course
or Supply Chain Management



- Financial acumen is a must



- MBA degree is a plus



    Experience



    - at least 3-5 years work experience in
Logistics, Demand & Supply Planning,



    - Multinational company experience is an
advantage



- Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry experience is preferred



- with at least a 3-year working knowledge in SAP



        Professional knowledge and skill

Good command of
English language in reading, writing and speaking

accuracy rate in his/her work output

Proficient in MS
Office: EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT, etc.
