THE OPPORTUNITY
MSD is currently recruiting for a Hospital Sales Representative to join our Anaesthesia team and manage East Victoria including: Box Hill, Prahran, Parkville, Frankston and Tasmania. As a Hospital Sales Representative you will work closely with your team and internal stakeholders to identify and understand your customers’ needs. You will effectively manage your territory to ensure you are regularly engaging with and building strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, to ensure that MSD is viewed as demonstrating value and better health outcomes to healthcare professionals and patients, achieving this through demonstrating the highest level of product knowledge coupled with your competencies in sales and account management.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU
You are someone who relishes accountability and thrives when challenged. You have a passion for complex territory management and can successfully navigate the theatre setting. You have high levels of commercial acumen and strategic analysis. You are highly ethical and your personal and professional ethos is aspirational.
In addition you will:
• Demonstrate successful Hospital Sales Representative experience within theatre, anaesthesia experience is highly regarded
• Hold a Degree qualification or equivalent , science degree preferred
• Have a documented history of strong performance in Sales
• Display high levels of flexibility, resilience, initiative and innovation.
• Be experienced at developing new business opportunities with existing customers
• Be a confident communicator and demonstrate strong presentation skills and personal presence.
