Under the direction of the Director IT Account Management Commercial Operations EURAM and accountable to the country leaders of Great-Britain, Ireland and the Netherlands, and potentially several other markets in the future, this position will be responsible for all Animal Health IT activities in support of the Animal Health Commercial Operations in these countries.

The IT Business Analyst acts as the liaison on the client engagement side between IT and business end users.
Being responsible for matching business requirements/needs with available Animal health (AH)-IT platform solutions.
In the role of subject matter expert the IT Business Analyst will be responsible for the industrialization of available (AH)-IT platform solutions in the countries mentioned above.

The IT Business Analyst will:
- Work with country senior leadership to drive business-IT outcomes which support the business strategy and the continued standardisation and simplification of the IT footprint.
- Act as subject matter expert, aligning country demand that supports the AH business strategy with the available (AH)-IT platform solutions, the (AH)-IT strategic plan, and the MSD architecture directions and standards, based upon a deep understanding of the AH commercial business.
- Industrialise available (AH)-IT platform solutions by facilitating the definition of required localisations/customisation, the integration of data, user acceptance testing and training
- Drive user adoption and value realisation of our available (AH)-IT platforms
- Sell the available (AH)-IT platform solutions to in-country senior leadership to fulfil their demand for IT enablers
- Partner with internal and external IT organisations to ensure the delivery of IT solutions and services needed

Primary Activities:

- Support and advise senior country leaders on country specific IT challenges
- Match in-country demand with the available (AH)-IT platform solutions, the (AH)-IT strategic plan, and the MSD architecture directions and standards
- Facilitate the industrialisation of our available (AH)-IT platform solutions
- Drive user adoption and value realisation of our available (AH)-IT platform solutions
- Sell available (AH)-IT platform solutions to in country senior leadership to create business value for MSD.
- Facilitate the rationalisation, synchronisation, consolidation or elimination of applications and technologies to reduce complexity and increase business agility
- Manage communications and expectations with the in-country business clients; simplifying IT engagement by serving as primary point of interaction and contact with the business

Qualifications

• A bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience is required
• A demonstrated track record of success as a business analyst in the pharmaceutical or related industry with an intense focus on innovation, commercial and supply chain processes and systems.
• Effective at working with business partners to understand their needs in order translate them into clear requirements
• A team player who places great emphasis on collective achievements.
• Ability to act as a networking leader
• Strong delivery skills
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Strong personal and professional ethical values, impeccable integrity, and the energy level and stamina required to meet the demands of the position.
