The department
The Facilities Management Moleneind team is a centralized team that enables the production teams and COE’s to use the onsite facilities by running and maintaining all MSD-buildings and their systems at the Moleneind site and provide a variety of soft services. The team consists of the Facility Lead, Senior Specialist Facilities, FM Project Coordinator, the Asset and Reliability Specialist, the Senior Engineer energy and a team of 4 FM-engineers. To strengthen the FM team, we are recruiting a Senior Project Manager to manage a diverse project portfolio for FM MSD Oss.

The function
Reporting into the Associate Director Facilities Management as a Senior Project Manager you are responsible for the successful delivery of new capability of a diverse project portfolio for MSD Oss. It is an exciting and unique opportunity to have early involvement in creation of a site and setting up the business for successful delivery of products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing portions of an overall large capital investments to an aggressive timeline. The role will also involve developing relationships and working very closely with the site team to understand and address business needs. Provide input into project plans and successfully execute them according to established schedule, cost and performance standards.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following main tasks:
• Manage the Long-Range Capital Plan (LRCP) based asset lifecycle and site master plan
• Develop yearly budgets in line with the LRCP
• Leads the preparation of Capital Management Process funding requests
• Manage design, scope, schedule and cost in collaboration with FM team, other project team members, safety and quality representatives, outside contractors and suppliers for their scope element
• Track and report progress as required against project deliverables, highlight risks and mitigation plans and provide regular updates to project sponsors
• Provide input into project plans and successfully execute them according to established, scope, schedule, cost and performance standards
• You act as Capital Project Team Leader (CPTL) leading the Capital Project Team (CPT). The CPTL ensures the project goals are met. This include CPT formation, functional alignment, issue resolution and communications of issues to management Capital Review Committee (if required).
• The CPTL is responsible for coordinating all project activities through process qualification.
• Ensure there is a strong safety culture and performance in the execution of capital projects 

• Mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering bachelor’s degree or similar relevant qualification
• A minimum of five to ten years of relevant experience in project management of capital projects in Pharm/Bio Pharm/Food and including management, experience with managing challenging timelines
• Understands the typical project life cycle from concept through to qualification and has proven experience in this area
• Establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with clients at the site. Leveraging relationships by interfacing and influencing with Engineering and service providers to produce optimal result
• Ability to work with a multinational team and different cultures
• Experience in a complex, international environment with matrix organization
• Culturally sensitive and able to build strong relationships with clients, employees, third parties, line management and other stakeholders, able to apply influence and persuasion;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Solid project and change management capacities
• Experience of LEAN construction principles would be an advantage
