Position Overview

The position is responsible in its regional or client area for the creation of close and intensive connection to identified key accounts.

The position shall for this purpose support and utilize a use of structured customer database of the organization as well as implement Key Account Management practices’ strategy for a development of Key Accounts (KA) tactical plans and also in daily operative contacts with KA.

Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for an efficient allocation of the organizational resources by individual KA in order to increase the commercial performance (Share of wallet) of the organization by KA business and if & where possible by creation mutual KA & the organization connection directly into livestock’s production.


The position shall monitor an efficiency of the work by a frequent and manufacturing division evaluation of established Key performance indicators (KPI’s). 

            
Roles and responsibilities:

• Identification and following active work with and support of KA (veterinarians, key opinion leaders i.e. KOL, organizations, producers, farms) according to the organization driven rules
• Keeping records and stimulating the organization on the keeping records on the market’s customer audience in the organization’s supported Customer relationship management system (CRM) its periodical evaluation and the strategic identification of the targeted KA
• Creation, implementation, updating and evaluation of the tactical KA individual marketing and action plans including regular evaluation of their KPIs
• Keeping overview on the most actual network of stakeholders acting in the livestock production value chain  where KAM acts
• Daily contact with KA, KOL or other stakeholders from different area (e.g. Universities, breeding organizations or associations, livestock trading subjects) which act on livestock production market
• Organization of the round tables meetings, workshops, presentations, regional symposia and meetings including the organization presentation on regional fairs and congresses including where & when possible with KAM active presentation (e.g. lecture)
• Cooperation on the organization’s development of strategies and tactical plans in areas of marketing, sales
• Ongoing constructive and harmonized cooperation with co-acting departments of the organization namely product management, technical services and sales
• Regular analyze (external & competitive & stakeholders environment) on the market segment KA acts including presentation of market tendencies and the organization’s market performance in presentable format e.g. Power point presentation
• Continuous cooperation in region (CERG) with TM (Technical Manager) Swine and MKT Manager Swine in area of responsibility

Qualifications

Requirements on candidate:

 Professional Competence:
• Degree preferentially university degree in-vet medicine, agriculture, life-sciences or BA with a practice in livestock production area
• Knowledge in livestock production (species specific)

• High degree of analytical and tactical thinking
• High level of diplomacy, negotiating skills but constructive assertiveness in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• High level of presentation abilities, communications and team-cooperation
• Excellent organizational and planning skills and be flexible to successfully handle conflicting time pressures and a large volume of work including a preparedness for frequent travel
• Competence to work in MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and in IT technology in general
• High motivation and work engagement
• English in excellent written and verbal command
