As
part of our clinical research team and reporting to the Director
Biostatistics, we are looking for a Scientific
Data Manager (m/f/x)
to join our team in Schwabenheim, office based
(Full-time, indefinite). 


 


The Scientific Data
Manager will be responsible for:
 



  • Writing study-specific data management plans
  • Developing and maintaining databases to collect and retain clinical study data for laboratory challenge and clinical field trials for pharmaceutical and biological veterinary compounds by good Data Management practices
  • Collaborating with the Clinical Research Assistants (CRA) on the design of the Data Capture Forms and the establishment of data entry screens
  • Setting up and running UATs (User Acceptance Tests)
  • You will be responsible for the comparison of the two independently entered data (“confrontation”) and will collaborate with the Clinical Research Manager (CRM) to resolve data entry differences
  • Programming and running edit checks and testing the integrity and consistency of the data
  • You will collaborate with the CRM and CRA on data findings and resolve these via data queries with the Investigator site
  • Evaluating protocol deviations for effect on data analysis and interpreting the results
  • Tracking and transferring of external data to the primary database
  • You will develop and implement processes to allow studies to be conducted paperless by using an Electronic Data Capture system






Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor of Science in Data Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Biological or Clinical Sciences, Statistics, or equivalent. Alternatively, professional education (e.g. Medical Documentation) with several years of professional experience
  • Expertise on the Clinsight software or another Data Management Software
  • Experience with Data Management processes
  • Electronic Data Capture
  • Knowledge of CDISC CDASH/SDTM
  • Basic knowledge of a programming or query language (SAS, R, SQL)
  • Knowledge of Clinical Research, Clinical Trials, GCP and GLP in Animal Health
  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, communication skills and teamwork focus
  • Self-organized and structured working style
  • Fluency in English; German Knowledge is desired
