Sr. Manager, Market Access & Pricing Job

Key Responsibility
• Provide analytical support for pricing-related decision makings, including (but not limited to):
− Pricing guidance/principle: help make informed decisions with regard to the pricing guidance design, communication & alignment with management team;
− Pricing governance process: associated with core pricing programs such as Discounting, 2nd-Round Pricing Negotiation, Bidding, etc.;
• Price Governance Processes Automation
− Lead the development project with IT team to automate price governance processes including provincial / sub-provincial price-negotiation / hospital discount processes
− Work with IT team to ensure latest price guidance & governance been reflect in the system in a timely manner
• Continuously build/enhance the Pricing Data Analytics Platform, through identifying business needs, securing data-sources and the design of informative analytics
− Provide training to key stakeholders
− Pricing related data management & ownership (i.e.: external bidding data)
• Price-performance Dashboard & Analysis:
− Regular management report on pricing performance
− Retrospective analysis on key decision makings
• Operational Price Governance Initiative, including:
− GPR
− Retrospective analysis on key decision makings


Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications required
• Minimum of 5+ years’ work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related consulting firm;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare /Commerce/ /Economics discipline; Postgraduate degree preferred
• Capability on collecting data of relevant disease/therapeutic area, marketing environment, able to extract & summarize useful information efficiently;
• Ability to perform data analysis and model pricing assumptions. Comfortable with quantitative thinking, interpretation of historical market, sales and pricing data
• Collaborative skills, mature in communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with multi levels of cross functions;
• Results focused, willingness to learn, self-motivated & driven to achieve goals that deliver value to customers
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills and competence with mainstream presentation & analytical tools
