  • Perform
    manufacturing operations per production schedule in compliance with cGMP
    rules and objectives and achieve the operational objectives.

  • Meet
    site’s safety, health and environmental (SHE) performance objectives
    through compliance with site SHE rules.

  • Provide
    technical support in the area of work.

Routine Operation




  • Responsible
    for completing all assigned operations, ensuring accurate and timely
    documentation completion on modules.

  • Meet
    performance metrics of the assigned operations.

  • Participates
    in GMP walk down if assigned.

  • Provides
    accurate information to visual boards and ensures all visual boards are
    updated in a timely manner.

  • Responsible
    for maintaining and ensuring good facility housekeeping. 

  • Effectively
    communicates during shift handover. 

  • Completed
    batch sheet updates, completes batch sheet reviews and checks back batch
    sheets when assigned.





Non Routine Operation / Campaign turnaround Activities




  • Responsible
    to perform OQ/PQ and support IQ when assigned.

  • Be a
    backup for Production Lead & SIC after completing the required
    training.

  • Responsible
    for approving safety permit after completing permit to approval training.

  • Technical
    competence of an O2 and the additional SME knowledge in at least one of
    the modules. 





Incident, Event, Atypical and Customer Complaint Investigations




  • Provides
    and raises effective notification for all events and atypical.

  • Facilitate
    RTPS from initiation to completion or rejection. 

  • Provide
    technical support in the area of work.

  • Support
    in data collection to assist investigations.

  • Participates
    in investigation when assigned and provide inputs on preventive action.





Continuous Improvement




  • Responsible
    to participate in Kaizen events in Operations Modules in accordance with
    Kaizen plans when assigned.

  • Execute
    Lean Standard work when assigned.





Situational Leadership




  • Responsible
    to provide 1st line trouble shooting for all the operation related issues
    when been escalated and escalate to next appropriate level when required.





Technical Leadership




  • Coach
    the new staff on the module related CA book & JBS.





Financial Stewardship 




  • Achieves
    Production, IPT cost effectiveness and product cost reduction targets set
    in the Profit Plan, with particular emphasis on process yields and waste
    reduction.





Quality / SHE Stewardship



Quality




  • Prepare
    SOPs and Job Aids when assigned to ensure compliance with regulatory
    standards.

  • Ensure
    production support activities are completed according to established
    procedures.





Safety, Health & Environment




  • Ensures
    compliance to all Safety and cGMP requirements and participates as ERT
    team member when assigned.

  • Participates
    in and supports the implementation of actions for all Incident
    Investigations and Audits.

  • Highlights
    “Near Miss” and other improvement ideas for work environment.

  • Ensure
    work permit requirements are met for all IPT manufacturing activities.

  • Use

Qualifications

Qualification:




  • A
    Diploma or a Technical school graduate Science / Engineering with strong
    back ground in operation and maintenance in pharmaceutical/API chemical
    manufacturing experience.

  • Must be
    willing to work in 12 hours rotating shift (day/night).





Experience:






  • Minimum
    5 years of hands-on experience.



Other Personal Attributes: 






  • Strong
    back ground in operation of chemical/pharmaceutical systems including
    hands on experience.

  • Experience
    in safety procedures/practices.

  • Familiarized
    with cGMP working environment.

  • Has a good
    writing and communication skill.

  • Understanding
    of lean tools and techniques including Work Standards, Kanban, 5S and
    Visual management.

  • Has the
    capability to train people on operations.
