The division is comprised of sales and marketing professionals who are passionate about their role in bringing MSD's prescription medicines, vaccines, and other medical products to our customers worldwide.

Detail, promote and sell MSD’s products to doctors in the private or restructured sector. The main focus of a Professional Medical Representative activities are aimed at increasing sales of MSD products through building relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, pharmacists within the private/restructured environment. To achieve maximal sales and market share through personal promotion that is targeted and tailored for customers that benefits patients and adheres to MSD ethical standards. Your responsibilities include the following:
 
Key Program Implementation
 
  • Effective execution of marketing/promotional plans (e.g. GSA, KOL, screening programs, patience experience program, public forums)
  • Strategic Sales Objectives 
  • To achieve strategic key objectives as directed by Key franchise (e.g. market growth, sales growth, product strength ratio, number of new accounts, formulary listings, new product market priming)
  • Territory Management 
  • Optimize overall sales results performance through effective territory management (through GeneSys – Reach & Frequency, call rate, field day; DDD Analysis)
  • Sales Expertise 
  • Demonstrate high level of sales expertise and relationship management (through product & disease knowledge; selling skills, product presentation skills & managing customers)
  • Effectively executes promotional programs and brand / franchise messages to the targeted segment

Qualifications

  • Degree in Science/Arts/Business
  • Fresh Graduate (Degree/Diploma) to 1-2 years pharmaceutical sales experience are welcome to apply
  • Strong presentation skills, positive attitude and strong sales achievement
  • Strong customer focus and proven relationship building skills
