Remedy Tech Team Specialist Job

The Remedy Technical Team Specialist position will be
responsible for providing tier 3 engineering and operational support for the
platform with an emphasis on problem investigations.  The position responsibilities will include
but not limited to the following:

• Provide
tier 3 (engineering level) support for operations of the platform for BMC Atrium,
Remedy, Workflows, and BMC ADDM

• Coordination
of Problem Investigations (includes documenting)

• Supporting
Vendor Management (all related vendors)

• Consult on
any proposed utilization of platform

• Execute on
defined release strategy for the platform

• Responsible
for documentation of all procedures to support the development, deployment and
use of the platform

• Contribute to the development of the architecture of the
platform (including integrations) through Web Service calls and API development


Education Minimum Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering field (or equivalent experience)

Required Experience and Skills:

• Oracle or relational databases

• Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of C, C++, API integration, and web services calls

Preferred Experience and Skills

• AR System 7.6.04 Certified Administrator plus BMC Developer

• Working knowledge of the Remedy workflow for the following modules:

   - Service Request Management

   - Incident Management

   - Problem Management

   - Knowledge Management

   - Change Management

   - Atrium CMDB and BMC ADDM

   - Working knowledge of Column Case Management Tool
