Job Purpose:

  • The incumbent supports the Senior Manager, Operations in coordination, reviewing and preparation of all necessary documents related to manufacturing. The incumbent will complete all or a subset of the following:

  • Prepares and issue necessary documents for manufacturing use. These documents are the batch records and other essential documentation related for manufacturing such as SOPs and Job Aids.

  • Revise manufacturing documentation in liaise with other departments in Pharm such as GTO/Process Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing. This includes emergency changes related to the batch documentation when needed.

  • Completes post manufacturing batch documentation review, ensure the documents are in accordance with cGMP requirements and coordinates for corrections before submission to Quality for final review.

  • Manages control copies of shopfloor SOPs and Job Aids.

  • Provides straight through document accuracy metrics and supports improvement initiative for RFT documents.

  • Participates in continuous improvement proposals of the department, especially supporting Right First Time for documentation.

  • Performs SAP transactions, like TECO for batch sheet packages as required.


Manufacturing Excellence

  • Prepares and issue necessary documents on a timely manner for manufacturing use.

  • Supports document revision (SOP, Forms and etc.) when necessary to improve the system of documentation review, issuance and preparation.

  • Completes manufacturing batch record review in accordance with cGMP requirements.

  • Maintains the proper filing and safe keeping of all relevant manufacturing documents and have it available when needed including controlled copies

  • Assist Plant Management in coordinating the periodic review of SOPs as and when required.

  • Participates Right First-Time initiatives especially in documentation

 

Quality / SHE Stewardship:

  • Ensures that all assigned task related to manufacturing documentation support is in accordance with good manufacturing practices.

  • Prepares or update SOPs and related documents to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Participates in investigations arising from documentation aspects.

  • Coaches shift teams related to Right First Time documentation.

  • Participates in (as required) and supports the implementation of actions related to Safety, Health and Environment program of the company

 

People Excellence:

  • Ensure both operational knowledge and competency are maintained and compliant against individual job program

  • Ensures necessary trainings are completed or meet the level of expectation  to  maintain  job excellence.

  • Develops and updates the annual performance management plan (myPMP) and Employee Development Plan (EDP) with their Manager in line with the Performance  Management  Process and/or as required

  • Demonstrate good behaviours in alignment with MSD standards

  • Participates in SHE, Business Compliance, cGMP and all other compliance-related matters, where applicable

  • Supervises and oversees Third Party Contractors, where applicable

  • Any other duties as and when assigned by the Manager

Qualifications

Requirements:




  • Minimum GCE 'N' Level
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
    in an operations environment with experience in documentation preparation and
    control preferred
  • Good knowledge in applicable
    regulations and divisional policies/guidelines (especially Cleaning/Housekeeping/Maintenance,
    Environmental Control, Process/Cleaning/ Equipment Validation, Change Control
    and Manufacturing Practices)
  • Good stewardship awareness (including cGMP,
    regulatory inspection preparation, SHE)
