The Technical PC Lifecycle Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of Computer purchase tasks among various countries across the globe. It includes working with local site IT contacts to ensure funding is allocated to meet their local computer inventory needs. The Technical PC Lifecycle Coordinator is accountable for delivering funding on time to enable just in time inventory, thoroughly track purchase orders until delivery and address issues with hardware vendor. Makes sure to comply with the country regulations as well as global policies and standards pertaining to IT Computing environment. This position has full responsibility for implementing Computer lifecycle from purchasing to asset disposal. Also required to lead new computer product selection and assist troubleshooting all third level support issues with associated vendors.

Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Champions the client computing standard hardware and process across the globe.
  • Lead new product selection/configuration; device portfolio/Roadmap
  • Suggest/provide updates to communicate new standards globally thru website, email and meetings.
  • Operates, implements and support client computing lifecycle to all sites and divisions.
  • Managed various sites/countries to ensure proper funding and inventory managed meets the local business needs.
  • Track and drive completion of purchasing process with local procurement/finance groups to ensure orders are paid in a timely manner.
  • Assist in managing and forecasting budget in regards to the computer purchases at a site level.
  • Assist in hardware troubleshooting or providing computing solutions and provide support for hardware critical updates globally
  • Efficiently identify and resolve process or hardware issues.
  • Customer focused to be able to work with user requests and issues.
  • Manage request tickets and be able to enforce standard IT policy 
  • Review tickets and computer inventory data to determine trends or potential issues
  • Manage vendor catalogs and drive deliverables to meet target dates
Qualifications

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • BSc Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Business administration

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years in computer related support  or customer support
  • 2+ years direct work experience in a finance or purchasing capacity.  
  • English fluency required, along with excellent English written and verbal communications skills
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with ability to drive results 
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and find trends or issues to be addressed
  • Understanding and effectively communicating across multiple languages and cultures an advantage 
  • Operates and leads effectively in a matrix environment
  • Requires good negotiation and presentation skills to medium size groups
  • Requires to drive and host meetings to engage with various functions such as finance, procurement, business areas and external vendors
  • Effectively drive outcome and is detailed oriented to complete tasks thoroughly  
  • Understands characteristics of the current IT environment and actively identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and capacity for professional growth.  
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management to drive results.
  • Basic knowledge of Procurement, Finance, Fulfillment, Asset disposal, Device management, Budget management.  
  • Strong knowledge of Computer support or computer lifecycle
  • Ability to define, manage and exceed business customer expectations.  
  • Ability to operate at macro level, driving large teams with multiple stakeholders but also has the ability to individually contribute to work products when required.  
  • Ability to build consensus amongst team members and key stakeholders. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various teams  including, IT leadership, business customers, team members, and other IT colleagues.
