MSD is currently recruiting for a Professional Sales Representative to join our General Medicines team to cover Eastern Victoria i.e. Knocksville/Bayswater north to the NSW border. 

As a Professional Sales Representative you will implement product sales strategies and promotional programs; engaging with and building strong relationships with Doctors, Pharmacists and Practice staff, to ensure that MSD is viewed as demonstrating value and better health outcomes to healthcare professionals and patients, achieving this through demonstrating the highest level of product and disease knowledge coupled with your competencies in sales and account management. 


Whilst you may have a wealth of successful sales experience, this role may be your first foray into the pharmaceutical industry. Alternatively you may be an experienced pharmaceutical sales representative looking to align yourself with one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies renowned for its ethics and integrity, industry leading sales training and exceptional product pipeline.

In addition you will:
  • Hold a Degree qualification or equivalent , science degree preferred
  • Have a documented history of strong performance in face to face sales. 
  • Display high levels of flexibility, resilience, initiative and innovation.
  • Be able to analyse metrics to assess progress against objectives
  • Be experienced at developing new business opportunities with existing customers
  • Be a confident communicator and demonstrate strong presentation skills and personal presence.
