Responsibilities / Functions:



  • Procurement of direct material, excipients, packaging materials for Unterschleißheim site

  • Initiate and implement direct material sourcing projects

  • Supplier Relationship Management (selection, evaluation, price and contract negotiations)

  • Change control and process deviations/complaints follow-up

  • Perform risk assessment and mitigation plan of API, excipients and packaging materials

  • As the POC (point of contact) of GSM (Global Supply Management), coordinate procurement initiatives and projects between global and local

  • SAP master data maintenance (e.g. material master, prices)

  • Data maintenance and support Animal Health GSM sharepoint data

  • Provide procurement data/experience for local departments and/or other global functions (REACH, iOTIF, eStars, QCE, Audit initiation)
Qualifications



  • University degree in business administration or equivalent education/training

  • Relevant professional experience in pharmaceutical industry

  • Direct material and packaging materials procurement experiences is a must

  • Competence for planning and organizing, strong results orientation and decision-making ability

  • Good project management skills

  • Six Sigma belt desired

  • Ability to work in a team, networking skills and experienced in cooperation with teams within multinational environment

  • Good communication skills

  • Advanced knowledge in SAP and MS Office

  • Willingness to Travel (max. 10%)

  • Fluent in German and English
