The Customer Unit Lead (CUL) is accountable for achieving the oncology portfolio sales and income targets under his/her leadership for oncology. The CUL reports to the Oncology Business Unit Lead, Balkans with dotted line to the local Managing Director.

The CUL is responsible for oversight and leadership of all of the countries oncology business activities which includes marketing and sales, policy, professional relations, and medical/scientific affairs.
Responsibilities include build-out and marketing planning to ensure that the oncology commercial strategy, tactics and infrastructure are in place to successfully achieve new product launches, operating plans and critical milestones. The CUL will work closely with local market access and pricing to appropriately communicate value of our medicines and to drive rapid access and reimbursement.

The CUL is responsible for leading the cross functional team in the countries and to manage and facilitate discussions and executions in a matrix organization ensuring all relevant stakeholder input for maximizing results and growth opportunities.

As a member of the local leadership team the CUL will drive oncology transformation and actively engage his/her organization and beyond.

Qualifications


This position will require outstanding leadership in all areas of product management as well as demonstrate excellence in people management, personnel development, teamwork, and collaboration.

Master degree from an accredited university, preferably 10-15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector, at least several of which are within Oncology.

Familiar with principles of health economics and the clinical implications. Proactively identifies business opportunities and supports appropriate pull-through and understands current state and evolving landscape of integrated payers in the country.
Ability to work in a very complex setting and across many functions and levels and across different customer types. Flexible and dynamic to adapt and succeed in a rapidly changing environment. Able to work independently and collaboratively with an open mind-set.

Business acumen – Knows how business works, knowledgeable in current and future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting his/her business and organization; knows the competition; is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace

Manage vision and purpose – communicates a compelling and inspiring vision; talks beyond today; talks about possibilities, is optimistic, create room for manoeuvring; can inspire and motivate entire units or organizations.

Strong communication skills in English.
