Position Overview


 


 


Responsible for Driving Innovation and producing measurable results in all areas of business excellence, across all species & functions, in a regional matrix role. This will be leading through people, direct & in-direct reports, and responsible for the successful implementation of those innovation & improvement initiatives.


 


This will include identifying Business Process Improvements, leading change, executing projects, developing regional capabilities, monitoring of progress, and efficacy in achieving the strategic initiatives aligned with the business vision & strategy.


 


The role is also responsible for defining & delivering the Regional Digital Strategy, including strategic initiatives: MAXX, BI, CRM, Multi-Channel Marketing support, GDPR and Data Management.


 


A key part of this role is to support the region in all Compliance areas. Utilising the internal audits, creating new, and enforcing existing, standard operating procedures (SOPs) to identify areas for improvement, and achieving the highest standards of compliance across the region.


 


The role will be Country Lead for Romania, ensuring the legal representation of MSD AH locally towards the authorities, partners and customers, and exercising the employer rights on behalf of the Romanian subsidiary of MSD AH for the AH employees.

Role and Responsibilities


 


Under the direction of General Manager CERG and CERG LT, the Innovation & BPI Manager together with their team will be responsible for the Description, alignment, implementation and enforcement of all key business processes to business strategies to ensure realization of the desired end state:


 




  • Driving innovation in all areas of the CERG Regions activities.



  • Business Excellence (Orchestrate CERG efficacy): The description, preparation, update, training and enforcement of Compliance & Business Processes.



  • Strategy, Planning & Execution: Facilitate/drive discussions to understand information needs to drive strategy, planning and operations.



  • Account Management Excellence (Consultative Selling & KAM data) Establishing, implementing and maintaining Account Management Excellence as well as other Customer Information/Analytics and navigate a team of AME specialists through CERG business priorities



  • Competence Project: Onboarding program and its implementation and fulfilment with an each new hire. Assure with HRBP that an each CERG member is assessed against Competence matrix and his/her development plan is set and processed against the target. KPI’s on progress and their evaluation. English Language Initiative project its progress, monitoring of efficacy and improvements for its future success.



  • Data Management: Establishing, implementing and maintaining sales force effectiveness CRM system (MAXX), including strategic analysis, business planning & analytics, execution including its business support modules and monitoring for the CERG Region. Analyze internal and external data to evaluate opportunities and develop plans in association with the leadership team for various products and/or geographic areas



  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Creation of the Multi-Channel Marketing basis. Administer its accuracy namely in area of Data Privacy and GDPR regulations and the account knowledge



  • Market Mapping: Deliver robust system on a trend analysis using available sources (IMS, other industry audits, distributor data, govt. statistics) to inform the leadership team of market environment and competitive landscape. Educate leadership team on market data interpretation and utilization. Conduct relevant training including IMS dashboard/standard reports and other secondary data supporting tools. Continue to look for improvement and synergy opportunities /standardizations in the reporting process. Cultivate data driven decision mindset in organization



  • Support and co-ordination of key events and seminars in the region
Qualifications

 


Education & Experience


 




  • Minimum of 2 years in Business Support and/or Administration and 3 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Industry



  • Language skills: Fluent in English



  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills



  • Excellent project management skills and experience



  • High level of energy, enthusiasm and commitment



  • Experience to work with SAP, Hiperos, Effacts, Spotfire and/or large Statistical data sets are beneficial



  • Demonstrated cross-functional cooperation and broader enterprise awareness



  • Sales Force Effectiveness logic



  • Ability to network and build up efficient relationships with key internal and external stakeholders



  • Have advanced analytical skills, strategic and structured thinking
