Emerging Talent Rotational Program

The Emerging Talent Rotational (ETR) Program allows fresh graduates to experience three rotations in different IT business areas over a 2-year period which includes one full year, and two half year rotations. Each graduate will be partnered with a buddy, rotational manager and a mentor who will be able to help with adapting to MSD and planning their career. Rotations are assigned based on the individual’s development interests and company business needs.
What is the goal of the program?
The goal of the Information Technology division’s ETR Program aims to create a diverse and talented network of IT professionals and future business influencers.

​​​​​​​The program offers participants a path that exposes them to different IT areas and invests in their technical, business, and interpersonal skill development.

Participants emerge with a deep knowledge and understanding of MSD’s business, IT processes, and how to meaningfully engage and positively affect the company.

Who can apply for the ETR program?

We are looking for university graduates who meet the following criteria:
  • Finished their university studies within the last 2 years ago
  • Interested in Information Technologies and have a passion for healthcare
  • Earned a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science or similar
  • Outstanding record of achievement and proven interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to build relationships between IT and business professionals across the company
  • Analytical, perceptive and inquisitive about the interrelationships of various components
  • Quick learners and able to learn our complex business environment and new concepts 

If you have all the above and are eager to help drive our company mission and vision, you are the right candidate. 
What is the timeline for applications and interviews?
  • March 18, 2020 is the last day that you can apply for the ETR program. 
  • Personal interviews will take place during April. 
  • Successful candidates for the ETR program will start work July 1, 2020 at MSD Czech Republic in Prague.

How does the interview process work?
  • Use the application form to send your CV and letter expressing interest in the ETR program.
  • Selected candidates will be invited for personal interviews and present a business case study to members of our senior management.
  • The best candidates will receive an offer to join the ETR program and will start on July 1st, 2020.

What areas can I be assigned to for my rotations?
  • Rotations are assigned based on the individual’s development interests and are aligned with current business needs.
  • Successful candidates will be provided with a catalogue of rotation possibilities.
  • They can discuss their interests with the ETR Program Lead.
