THE OPPORTUNITY

MSD Animal Health site in Upper Hutt is going through significant expansion and as a result we are seeking an experienced Validation Engineer to join the team on a fixed term contract until December 2021.


As a Validation Engineer you will work on a number of business-critical projects to complete validation of new equipment, processes and buildings within project timelines. You will also ensure routine validation is completed in accordance with the validation schedule.


Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

To be successful as a Validation Engineer you will:

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline
  • Demonstrate prior experience working as a validation Engineer with experience in biotechnology or the pharmaceutical industry highly regarded
  • Have a strong understand of GMP requirements
  • Hold the ability to work well under pressure and achieve results often to tight deadlines
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire others towards a common goal
  • Take a proactive approach to your own learning and development and find creative ways to solve problems
  • Demonstrate strong documentation experience including the creation and implementation of protocols
