Quality Control Laboratory Technician

THE OPPORTUNITY



 



MSD Animal Health manufacturing site in Upper Hutt is
currently recruiting for a Quality Control (QC) Technician on a 12-month
parental leave contract. This position will see you conduct sterility testing
using aseptic techniques and immunology testing utilising ELISA techniques on
intermediary and finished goods. You will also be responsible for conducting
environmental testing including water testing. In this position you will take
accountability for your daily workload utilising QC and production schedules to
prioritise and effectively manage your workload.

ABOUT YOU




To be successful as a Quality Control Technician you will:



  • Hold a tertiary qualification in a science
    related discipline with Microbiology highly regarded
  • Have previously laboratory experience conducting
    microbiology and / or immunology testing, experience with aseptic techniques
    and ELISA testing is highly regarded
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of good
    laboratory practices (GLP) / good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently
    and as part of a team and be comfortable managing and prioritising your own
    workload.
