As part of the Customer Engagement team, you will be helping us launch our new IT Global Innovation Center focused on developing and applying advanced capabilities in information sciences, information security, mobility, social media and big data.

Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Design technical solutions with effort estimates and guidance for associated development work in the portfolio.

  • Collaborate across IT and commercial business units to configure and deploy CRM capabilities globally.

  • Contributes as part of a cross-functional team to the delivery of product enhancement releases against a prioritised set of requirements. Advises Technical Lead on work packages and delivers in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate across IT and commercial business units to configure and deploy CRM capabilities globally.

  • Responsible for CRM solution integration into the sales and marketing ecosystem.

  • Partner with technology vendors on solution architecture and product features.

  • Drive continuous improvement of the Integrated CRM platform.

  • Become fully conversant with MSD systems development life cycle methodology and understand regulatory and compliance needs relevant to CRM in the Life Sciences industry.

  • Actively collaborate and share knowledge across MSDIT.

  • MSc Degree or BSc Degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Business Management, Marketing Computer, Computer Science (or similar)with 2-5 years’ experience in commercial (sales / marketing / CRM) environment


Required Experience and Skills:

  • Motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with CRM tools such as SFDC, Siebel, Veeva, SugarCRM, Cegedim.

  • Strong analytical thinker and problem solving skills.

  • Experience working independently and collaboratively within a geographically disbursed environment.

  • Ability to self-learn and develop business and technical knowledge quickly and apply these to the business problems.

  • Experience in writing technical documentations such as test scripts and technical specifications.


Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrate experience of integrating email solutions into a digital ecosystem and be familiar with consent/opt-in management and customer segmentation.

  • Development and configuration experience on platform is a distinct advantage (Coding experience in Apex, SOQL, and Visual Force pages)

  • Working with major CRM package such as Sales Cloud, Veeva, Oracle on Demand, or Cegedim.

  • Have participated in, or be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.

  • Experience with cloud-based / SaaS solutions is a distinct advantage.

  • Functional background and knowledge of sales business processes.

  • Experience in Life Sciences would be of advantage.
