Position Overview          


 


The Brand Lead Diversified Brands is part of the CEE Marketing Portfolio Team and part of the European Marketing organization. The role of the Marketing Portfolio Team is to provide marketing support to the four country organizations aligned with the Global Marketing strategies and the local needs. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer of the CEE Cluster. It is located in Warsaw, given that Poland is CEE’s largest business for diversified brands (mature post LoE brands  covering respiratory, cardio, dermatology, womens health and other therapeutic areas).


 


Diversified brands (DVB) vision is to maximize DVB value through a 3-pillar strategy:




  • LCM plans that can maximize the long-term retention of sales through differentiation



  • Maximization of low cost digital promotional options and strategic commercial partnerships via external commercial platforms (Pharma, Wholesaler, Pharmacy) and



  • Portfolio optimization via systematic and disciplined execution of pricing, Registrations of existing products, Operational efficiencies (i.e., on-going SKU rationalization).

 


The Brand Lead is responsible for identifying the above brand opportunities, set portfolio priorities, and develop business plans within the cluster consistent with global and local strategies and brand/franchise priorities.


He/she designs, develops and implements marketing programs focused mainly on low cost digital solutions. He/she monitors execution with excellence with key focus on the Polish market.


 


Major Activities


 


The Brand Lead Diversified Brands for CEE is accountable for creating cluster brand plans & providing the markets with customized branded marketing programs focused on digital promotional solutions.


 


The Brand Lead will lead the brand planning process which includes forecasting, expense planning, pricing and limited promotion resource allocation. With Poland being the critical market for the business she/he is expected to spend at least 70% of focus on executing the optimal plan for the specific market and align strategy with all critical stakeholders of the Polish organization (Commercial team, Multichannel Marketing team, Managing Director)


 


The Brand Lead will identify and support markets’ specific priorities by developing, leading and influencing the execution of a franchise plan that allocates the right effort to the right therapeutic area, making the appropriate choices depending on growth opportunities.


The Brand Lead Diversified Brands will also support all efforts linked to business development projects that may include external partnerships to leverage opportunities regarding promotion or commercial channel partnerships.


He/she will collaborate closely in the day-to-day work with cluster Medical Affairs, Alliance manager,  MCM, Market Research colleagues and European RCL (Regional Commercial Lead). 


 


He/She will ensure continuous reporting back to countries and cluster leadership on selected KPIs and will be responsible of sharing best practices across the region.

Qualifications

Required:


 


Education & Experience




  • Minimum: University degree (master or equivalent) from accredited university



  • Minimum: >4 years experience in Marketing



  • Previous experience with managing assigned brands, multiple brands and/or mature or generic brands/portfolios



  • Fluent in Polish and English (written and spoken)
