Internships & co-ops
Internships: our U.S. & Canada internship program lasts 9–12 weeks between June and August.

Co-ops: our U.S. co-ops join us for four to six months.

Entry level & rotation programs

Talent development matters here. We give you the experience, exposure, environment, trust, and leadership to grow. You give us adaptability, aptitude, innovative ideas, and challenge our ways of thinking. Together we build you up to be our next generation of leaders.

In such a large organization, we have many entry points to start your first job in many different countries, divisions, functions, and teams. Your second job may be completely different than your first, and we encourage inter-country and inter-functional career experiences to ensure you have the chance to find yourself, test your strengths, and develop new leadership competencies.

Manufacturing Leadership Development Program (MLDP)
The MLDP is our flagship global manufacturing entry-level program. 

During your time in the program, we significantly invest in your development, giving you exposure and experience across our business, preparing you for future leadership. You receive coaching from senior leaders, exposure to real manufacturing and business challenges, and training from industry-leading scientists and engineers. In a short amount of time, you will be contributing to significant projects and helping make key decisions that directly impact how we make pharmaceuticals and deliver them to our patients globally.

IT Emerging Talent Rotation (ETR) Program
The ETR Program is a full-time, entry-level, job rotation opportunity for recent bachelor’s and master’s recipients interested in helping to advance healthcare through technology.

In the form of business-critical rotation assignments, new employees will support three different groups in Information Technology. Assignments are based on business needs and help to develop foundational technical, business, and professional capabilities and networks needed for a continued career in IT at our company.
